This amazing necklace is made from Sterling Silver which has been 'antiqued' and sealed to give it a vintage feel. The links that make up the necklace are articulated so it can sit comfortably. The links themselves are textured to resemble branches and the central motif has been accented by a small round cut white stone.

The hallmarks reveal that this piece was made by Rytosktuka in the town of Poznań in Poland. Established in 1950, they were known for creating modern designs for the time, hand-assembling pieces and hand-placing stones ensuring quality craftsmanship. The cooperative is now closed down so no new pieces are being made.

This necklace pairs wonderfully with the Sterling Silver rose ring and Sterling Silver rose earrings also made by Rytosktuka in the same time period to create a striking floral jewellery set.

ITEM DETAILS

ERA: Vintage (1980 - 1990s)

MEASUREMENTS: Necklace length is approximately 42cm.
The central design is around 60.3mm wide, 16.5mm high and 5.6mm in depth.
The white stone is approximately 3mm.

WEIGHT: 17.9g in total

HALLMARKS: On the bail: 925, P, Lady's Head for Sterling Silver, P for Poznań and the Lady's Head in combination with these for Poland.

CONDITION

Very Very Good - The necklace is still in beautiful condition with the antique finish and coating intact. It appears that at some stage, the ring on the right of the central section became loose and this was soldered closed but it is the only repair I can see. The clasp is still in excellent condition and springs closed securely. The white stone is secure in its setting.
